Also, when you press start with foot on brake/clutch there is no starter solenoid click and the starter does not crank? 1992 bmw e36 crank no start, intermittent spark.
No crank no start but charged battery, ended up being the ews 2 unit, quick fix.
Now it cranks pretty fast (normal speed as if turning on) but wont turn on. Hi, i replaced my cam postion sensor, and my crank position sensor on my 1997 bmw m3, car was running fine, i parked, cam out hours later, no start. Crank/no start check battery voltage at fuse 29 while starting. So i towed it to my house and started to get working on it.
